Danvers Fish and Game club has four separate archery ranges. The first two ranges are located in the same field, the first consist of ten practice buts with ranges of ten to sixty yards, to be shot at with target or field points only and is basically used to practice or sight in bows for different yardages.
The second half of the field is a broad head practice area for sighting in or practice with hunting heads, this area also has an elevated stand to shoot from which simulates shooting from a tree stand and has targets twenty to fifty yards.
The third range is a course in the woods with 3D animal targets and unmarked yardage to simulate actual hunting situations.
The last range is a twenty yard indoor range in our main building.
Danvers Fish and Game offers supervised youth archery shoots starting in January on Friday nights and runs through the winter. We also offer indoor and outdoor league archery shoots from 3D to spot target shoots, our outdoor 3D shoots are done on a lighted section of our course they usually start in January. A five dollar supper usually follows our out door league shoot and continues through the summer at our informal Wednesday night shoots.
Other activities are also run through out the year such as a spaghetti dinner and shoots
